Because our blog has some (let’s say three ) non-Finnish readers, it’s time to write something in English. Well, as you can see, there haven’t been updates in any languages lately!

I had big plans to train obedience with Taru but have been much too lazy for that. Instead, Taru is doing agility in “normal amount” and has competed once. She ran two courses and got disq. from one and clean from the other. Here you can see videos: first & second (the first has a commentary by a Finnish skier explaining his bad competence performance, which makes the video even funnier for those with Finnish skills). Next, in less than two weeks already, Taru competes in Finnish Champs.

Tosi has done agility (not so much training because we have competed quite much now) and obedience (not so much training because agility has taken my energy ). We competed in ob. class 2. a couple of weeks ago. I had really trained too little and tried to finish new stuff in too hurry, so I wasn’t happy with the trial. Actually even the judge didn’t become our fan this time. In any case, Tosi got enough points for the first prize (170,5 p, 1st place) so now we try to train further, learn new things and fix small details. The aim is to take class 3 this season but let’s see how it goes with all schedules that have to be matched together.

Tosi’s agility has gone up and down. Right now I can see the light but in a next moment the feeling can be quite the opposite . I try to find time to take small training sessions more often and compete again towards the end of the summer, but again, let’s see the schedules. Anyway, we have managed to run one nice winning course which you can see here.

But WHERE is she jumping? (Well, there is an obstacle in the left corner)
