It has been a bit of everything and no energy to review things in blog. For example, now we are two doctors in the house as Samu defended his dissertation last week. Otherwise we have done basic trainings in ag and ob. It goes well and sometimes even greatly, but too often it becomes an unintended break because of work or duties in dog club, and we don’t have time or possibility to do all stuff we would like to. I keep wondering whether I ever can invest in training as much one should (and as much I had possibilities to do previously). Am I completely ready even to strive for the competition world of today’s dog sports?? Quite often I feel myself too different from all those serious actives in dog and especially bc world (but I feel a bit different in other environments too)… Well, when training, I enjoy every second there!

It won’t become any Finnish championships for Taru. She had an option to make a double clean in Nokia a week ago but didn’t manage. She won one course with flying colours but took faults in others. One cannot let it be with some speculations: without Taru’s sick leave and heat she had had 11-14 starts more, so maybe she would have gained those results… Well, she’s a great dog anyway (just shame about the handler a bit), you’ll see Nauru!

We have got results from some gene tests of the younger dogs. Taru is free from all TNS, CL and CEA whereas Tosi is free from TNS and CL but CEA-carrier. (Myytti has been analyzed as free of CEA earlier). We are dreaming of having a litter of puppies from Taru in the future because she is such a happy, eager, physically and mentally strong, open-minded, hard-working, reasonably build and healthy representative of breed. We’ll see whether this plan will become true.
