HMI/ First the usual excuses for lacking updates!

Then to our doings and even some (poor) pictures!

Tosi is still quite a small girlie. She weights 8,5 kg but I'm not sure whether our old analog scales weighs out right as she was 8,5 kg already two weeks ago when we visited a vet. Tosi is very slim but I wouldn't call her skinny. Have to observe the situation anyway. She's some 42 cm high.

(Tosi 16 weeks)

Tosi has been practicing little (I really mean little!) obedience, like recalls, basic positions, sit, down and send-aways. I have had some problems with recall but nowadays they are better as I don't try too much. Tosi comes fast even without too much waggling from me, both in trainings and in everyday situations – but not from our sheep!

Sheep are leaving tomorrow which I think is a good thing to everybody! Tosi began more and more to work against me, fox example it was very difficult to get her away from the rams. Once we visited a real farm where our boys are from, and there, in a new place with new sheep and a bigger flock Tosi was much more unsure, so she's not as brave as she thinks anyway. So it's wise to let this issue be for a longer while.

Tosi has also begun agility lessons! I have started with introducing starts, forward sending, going around something and some handling maneuvers, both with and without wings and/or tiny jumps. She has also tried tunnel, shute and weave poles with combined allémethod and "nets". Fun! Tosi has also visited many agility competitions as a tourist but there she's not interested in agility, just in people and other things. Hmm, hope she just hasn't got the point yet! (…Taru did, from the first moment…)

Samu wrote in the last posting that Taru's agility is going mostly downwards. Well, it's still pretty the same. When they sometimes manage to run the whole course without disqualification and "just" with a refusal or dropped bar, there's nothing to say about speed, so maybe some day… She's promising, we know, but maybe we aren't! Now they are taking a break from competitions and concentrating on training for a while. And maybe he has time to post some videos here so you see what I mean.
