HMI/ So are agility world championships in Finland over and we're having some kind of hangover from all expectations, days full of excitement, too many new experiences to process straight away, big emotions… Of course we're also full of eager to practice and learn more. At the same time, one becomes once again frustrated over training possibilities in our area. It's not exactly an ice hockey arena where we train!

There were several super great dogs and handlers and thrilling situations that turned out fine or then not. Finnish Jouni & Yoko greatly got bronze in large, the winner Juice was absolutely fantastic, so was the silver-Cirkus, Encore and the Hungarian smoothcoated "rat" Chilli among many others. On the top of it all was still this: Zen leading after the first run but disq. in the finals. What can one say...

Our dogs spent the first day in the car and they got many walks during the day, both in nearby parks and in busier places, which was good for Tosi. Our countryside puppy was not afraid at all but the car staring is still present. After the first day's competition we went to the cottage of our friends who have two tollers and a bc who is Taru's sister. Together seven dogs behaved very nicely in the small cottage. Also little Tosi was totally trouble-free and luckily she's house-trained already. She was happy to have many friends to run with. The day of the finals became a bit too long for the dogs to be alone but even it had gone very well. The most dread was Taru who didn't relax properly during the first night but went around licking people. A limited space next night helped.

During one of our walks in the woods Tero missed his cap. He knew approximately where it should be but couldn't find it himself, so we went there and I sent Myytti to search. In a few seconds she had found the cap. Sweet Myytti, my wisest, my dearest!

Thank you Nina and Tero for offering a cosy accommodation!

We measured Tosi yesterday and she's now appr. 9 kilos.
