SP/ Ok, this blog has its beginning and it's called Tosi. Tosi is the third border collie in our family starring novascotia duck tolling retriever Kosmo, bc Myytti and bc Taru and "the humans" Hanna-Mari and Samu. The plan is to post news and short stories from our daily live. We try to do this as often as possible with a language understandable also to non-Finnish speaking people.

Tosi arrived yesterday morning, by ferry from Stockholm to Turku. Travelling first by car from Sandviken, by train from Gävle and taking a bus in Stockholm and then, a night time ferry to Finland and finally a car ride to Ylöjärvi. Tosi was handling everything tosi nice (tosi in Finnish means 'really' or 'very' but also 'true' which is contrary to the names of our other bcs - Myytti is 'myth' and Taru means 'story' or 'legend'). She made friends to almost every single passanger on board!

The first couple of days have been spent meeting Tosi's new pack. She met Kosmo right away - Kosmo must have been thinking "oh no, not again" but welcomed her in his own apathetic way. Taru has been next in line and we can happily inform that they seem to make friends quite fast! Taru has shown some very mature mood, letting Tosi to take her time (that is about two seconds and then... play). Myytti has been toooosi tolerant so everything is going better than planned. But of course, only the days will tell and until that the dogs are kept under supervision.
